When I think about ministry, I believe Spiritual Life Bible College prepared me to operate in true ministry. It was not just the book knowledge I received, but the hands on ministry at my local church through instructing in new membership classes, Word for Living Bible Study, adult Sunday school classes, and on mission trips. It is through this Bible College, I learned how to effectively operate in deliverance ministry, spiritual formation, and how to persevere in ministry.

Additionally, it is through this ministry that remained within me an unquenchable desire to equip men and women to understand their purpose and destiny in the earth. I want to echo that the body of Christ must redeem the time and realize that God has already equipped them for all they will ever need to fulfill the mandate upon their lives. It is imperative that we understand our position in Christ by loving the Lord with all of our heart, soul, and might.

Also, Yahweh is calling His people to “teach His precepts diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates” (Deuteronomy 6: 7-9).

Moreover, our position in Christ continues in the quiet recesses of genuine fellowship with Him. I’m speaking of fellowship where one can be totally transparent before a holy God; where the voices of the world are silent, and the only one that is being pleased is Abba Father. It is in this place one can see clearly the path to take; clear vision and strategies are established, and destiny is discovered! God is raising men and women who can hear and listen to His heartbeat and echo His precepts.

Finally, this passion within me has compelled me to “study to show myself approved unto God...” I am a second year student at Bethel Seminary in their Master’s of Divinity Program. My desire is to be a vessel of honor before God and be used of Him to echo his precepts from the mountaintops that many will be equipped to understand their position in Him.
